Long Time No Write

Well, its been awhile. Thought i would update my blog.
I have made a tank top out the same yarn for the 3rd time. It just never comes out right. Now its too big, and i refuse to rip it out. So i am figuring out how to get around this. I also have a scarf in progress. Pictures will follow.
We just got in from a gorgeous day at the beach. Now that all the people have gone home, all the locals seem to take advantage of weather and no crowds.
Its great !!!

I'm back

Well i am back to being into a knitting mode. I have finished a baby sweater for my neice, and hat, and booties. Not i am working on mittens. So far, i only took a picture of the sweater.

I am pretty happy with it and love the gumdrop buttons.

Other than that, been busy getting ready for Easter. We are not doing much for this yr for Easter, just my Sister in Law and her hubby are coming over for dinner. I found a great chocolate cake recipe that is very low in fat, and it tastes like a dutch chocolate cake, so that will be dessert.

Because of family situations, looks like we will not make our family trip to Vermont this year. And we all all bummed out about it. (long story) Anyway, heres a picture me and hubby in Vermont March of 2007 .

Update for the New Year

Well, i am getting my interest in knitting back. I just finished this flap hat for my Adam, and he loves it. Wears it to school all the time.

Next, I am working on some baby things for my neice who is pregnant and is due in July. Other than that, we are figuring out high schools. Very stressful, as i am not ready for this.....Adam is growing up way too fast. Over and Out...

Peek A Boo

I had to add this picture of our silly Gypsy cat. She was peeking thru the garland on the stairs on Christmas morning. She still acts like a kitten even tho shes 4.

Hello

Well, here i am again. Don't have any great knitting news, but i did manage to knit several preemie hats with all kinds of yarn i had left over and i did several scarfs as gifts for Christmas. Thats about it. All that aside we all got thru Christmas and had fun doing so. We had family and friends over and tons of food. I've added a picture of our beautiful tree....its huge as you can tell.

Well the New Year we are spending the night up at my sister and brother in laws. There will be 9 of us. Should be fun. So until next year........me
